Line Array Speaker

I am getting more and more interested in different speaker design .
Originally I want to try infinte baffle design (and make good use of my Diatone P-610MB).
But recently I found some interesting stuff about line array speaker when I surfing the net.
Since those small full range speaker from Tangband were quite cheap, I should give them a try.
Maybe they will sound good in TaShi house .

Recently , there is a group buy rush for Tangband w4-1320. I did not join for some reason.
After I study some info from internet , I start to realize line array is not how it looks like , not as waht I've imagined at least.

Plate choke

These two iron stuff are 70H/30ma plate choke for driver stage.It did not improve the sound as I expected, somehow brought a narrower bandwidth impression . Maybe they're not good quality choke, need to figure out this later....

I parelle the RIFA 1uF with NEC paper in oil which I got form surplus.
This greatly improves sound details.
These PIO caps were obtained when I was in colledge , almost 20 years ago!!
Hope they doesn't contain any PCB!!!

The crossover circuit is simply a 1st order high pass filter by means of one 1uF in series and followed by an attenuator.

After long wait, finally it's here.
The FOSTEX T-900A super tweeter.
See the extreme small horn mouth , it is a super tweeter indeed.
Which means you better use a higher crossover point than nromal tweeter.
Adding T-900A , surely improve top end of FE-208 ESigma.
But still lacking bass punch, after more break in ,maybe it will be changed.

Audio Stuff : Fostex 208E sigma with back loaded horn

I got these speaker through a group buy with DIY ZONE.
They are priced at 19500 NTD ,and that's around 600USD.

Currently they are still under break in, and the first impression are :
High efficiency , extended bass but not very strong , a little bit roll-off high .
